چکیده

Abstract Ovine respiratory complex is a significant cause of death in sheep flocks, where Pasteurella multocida the most frequent microorganisms isolated from animals with pneumonia. There an urgent need to refine use different antimicrobials avoid problem antimicrobial resistance and optimize control this disease ovine livestock. The first step approaching gaining insight into susceptibility pathogens. This study evaluated vitro activity tildipirosin, gamithromycin, oxytetracycline, danofloxacin against strains fibrinous were incubated following Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) standard conditions also modified method by 25% supplementation serum. Minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) determined using broth microdilution technique. lowest MIC 90 under serum was obtained tildipirosin. Sheep significantly reduced values for strains. In brief, potency tildipirosine, increases when added culture media.

Comparison of Antimicrobial Susceptibility of Campylobacter Strains Isolated from Food Samples and Patients with Diarrhea

Background: Campylobacter infections may lead to serious conditions, including septicemia or other invasive forms of the disease, which require rapid and accurate laboratory diagnosis and subsequently appropriate antimicrobial therapy. The aim of this study was to compare the species distribution and antimicrobial susceptibility pattern of Campylobacter spp. strains isolated from patients and f...

Ventilator Associated Pneumonia by Acinetobacter baumannii And antimicrobial susceptibility pattern

Background: Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) is one of the serious complications of ventilator support occurring in ICUs. The aim of this study was to determine the susceptibility pattern of Acinetobacter baumannii (A. baumannii) isolated from patients with VAP by two methods: disk diffusion and E. test. Methods: This descriptive-cross sectional study was conducted in the four ICUs of Ras...
